How To Draw And Color Tony The Tiger - Tony the Tiger is the famous cartoon mascot for Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes cereal. He appears on the Frosted Flakes cereal boxes as well as advertisements on television and billboards. He’s especially famous for saying the two words: “They’re Grrrreat!” Enjoy drawing him!

Steps by Steps

Gather your materials. You'll need pencils, paper and erasers.

Draw guidelines as shown for the face and body. Make the body approximately 6" tall to make sufficient room for the details and do not draw very dark because you will be erasing some lines.

Draw the outline of the face around the guidelines.

Draw the outlines of the arms and legs as shown.

Add the outline of the scarf.

Add the details of Tony’s face. Include his mouth, eyes and ears in pencil then draw over them in pen to make them darker.

Add whiskers, the name "TONY" on the scarf, the inside stomach outline and the tail.

Add the outlines of the tiger stripes all around the body.

Erase all remaining visible guidelines.

Add the text– "THEY’RE G-R-R-REAT!" in bold block print.

Color in the black stripes.

Color in the orange body.

Color the nose blue, the scarf red and the text blue.

Be sure to sign and date your creation!

Add a frame, if desired. You can frame your drawing by taping or gluing it to a sheet of colored paper about 1 inch (2.5 cm) wider and longer than your drawing so that there is a thin colored frame around it.

Pin your completed masterpiece to the wall or fridge for all to see and enjoy!
